Laulima means “many hands” and is an incredible cultural value reflecting on the many leaves of a tree that brings sustenance to its entity.
Our work is only possible through laulima that is achieved by the commitment of our volunteers.
Ke Kahua O Kūaliʻi is a space where men, women, and children, of all ages and backgrounds can come together. Ke Kahua o Kūaliʻi offers an opportunity to experience and engage in activities that cultivate a special and unique place that inspires cultural and environmental wellness.
If you would like to volunteer, please make a reservation with us. Please review the items below. This will assure an optimal experience.
Please also bring a signed waiver form. The document can be downloaded via the Download File link below.
Please Bring:
· Water bottle (we will have a water jug to re-fill bottles)
· Covered toe shoes (Tennis shoes, hiking shoes or rubber boots)
· Long pants & long sleeve shirt
· Sun hat or baseball cap
· Gloves (we will also have some available)
· Sunscreen
· Mosquito repellent
· Aloha for the ʻāina
We also ask that our volunteers come with a sense of mindfulness and to please leave all valuable at home. We haven't had any problems and we are being proactive to keep it a positive space with awesome experiences only.
Please note that there is no bathroom facility on site.
